pimping at the serpentine gallery

I had to wait over an hour to get into The Serpentine Gallery tonight to see Jeff Koons' exhibition. The place reeked of money and expensive perfume. I got reasonably close to the man himself. Could have probably touched him if I had the energy to bounce stick thin models and their aging super-tanned chaperons out the way.

Tonight's efforts result in my proposal being put in the hands of Director of Serpentine Gallery and Co-Director of Exhibitions and Programmes, Julia Peyton-Jones and Managing Director of London Art, Paul Wynter's. Paul was really genial, he asked me to join him and his beautiful girlfriend for a drink.

I didn't. I think he was just being polite besides, I wanted to get back to write the most important email of this whole journey so far... above.
